Note (General): 蠕動運動型混合器を実用化するには, 装置開発と並行して捏和メカニズムの詳細な解明が不可欠である. しかし, 蠕動運動による捏和メカニズムは様々な分野を通しても解明されていない. 本研究では, X線CT 撮像を用いて詳細に推進薬の酸化剤粒子に纏う予捏和スラリ (末端水酸基ポリブタジエン, アルミニウム粉末, 小粒径の過塩素酸アンモニウム粒子の混合物) の厚さを可視化した. 分散媒の厚さが20～40μm の間にある閾値を超えると, 推進薬内部に分散媒が浸透する.
In order to put a peristaltic artificial mixer to practical use, it is necessary to understand the kneading mechanism at the same time as developing the device. However, the kneading mechanism by peristaltic motion has not been understood through various fields. In this study, the thickness of pre-blended slurry(mixture of terminal hydroxyl group polybutadiene, aluminum powder and small particle size ammonium perchlorate particles)wrapped around the oxidizer particles of the propellant in detail is visualized using X-ray CT scanning. When the thickness of the dispersion medium exceeds a threshold value in the range of 20 to 40 μm, the dispersion medium penetrates into the propellant.
