The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) operated a research helicopter, MuPAL-ε, from April 2000 until February 2013. Based on Japan's first indigenously-developed commercial helicopter, the Mitsubishi MH2000A, MuPAL-ε was equipped with experiment support systems to flexibly meet a wide range of flight research needs. This paper summarizes the results of research activities using MuPAL-ε.
