Note (General): 航空プログラムグループ・無人航空機利用技術チームでは、災害発生時に無人航空機を運用して、被災状況を上空から把握することを目的とした「災害監視無人機システムの研究開発」を実施した。ここで無人航空機の運用では、無人航空機の飛行状況や機体のモニタリングと、搭載機器への制御指令や飛行中断・帰投等の指令を行う無線通信手段が不可欠である。一般的なUHF 帯無線通信では、その電波の性質より地上局と無人航空機間の見通し距離内が通信可能距離となるが、その距離について具体的な例としては、送信電力が1Wにおいて海上を飛行する無人航空機と、島嶼に設置した地上局間で30-40km程度のデータ通信の報告があり、この程度の送信出力があれば陸上においても長距離データ通信は可能であると考えられる。しかしながら、この場合は公的な機関が所有する周波数を使った例であって、民間における無人航空機の利用を考えた場合、飛行中の機体から電波を発するには、電波法の規定により現状では送信電力が微少な特定小電力無線を用いるしか方法がなく、その通信可能距離は周波数にもよるが数km程度が限界であり、無人航空機の運用範囲に制限が生じる。本報告は、一般的な通信方法（半二重通信方式・単一周波数）ではなく、異なる周波数による全二重通信方式の無線通信方法を用いることによって、電波法遵守を前提とした長距離無線データ通信が可能であることを飛行実験等で実証した結果について述べる。
This paper is written about long range wireless communication system for UAV data link. In this study, not a general half-duplex wireless communication modem but a full duplex wireless communication using two different UHF frequency modem utilized. As a result, long range wireless data communication were realized in a UAV flight experiment.
