Note (General): In order to achieve the advancement of satellite communication, a high speed and high quality communication system is required. Therefore proposed is a new satellite communication system using adaptive modulation techniques. The proposed system adaptively controls the symbol rate and modulation level of up-link and down-link signals according to the communication channel conditions. This paper describes a study result of the system concept and configuration.
