高速鉄道は大規模・高速で、実験が困難である。そこで新幹線の高速走行時の大規模な非線形動的現象を効果的に解くため、FEMとMBDを併用しモーダル法を用いた、高速走行のシミュレーションプログラムの概要が述べられ、地震対策のための高速走行時の脱線を含むシミュレーション結果が紹介される。
