Note (General): 航空宇宙技術研究所2m×2m遷音速風洞用排風機設備は、風洞の内部圧力制御および内部空気置換を行うために設置され、30年間以上運転されて来たが、老朽化による性能低下が著しく、新排風機設備に更新される事となった。新排風機設備用圧縮機は、ルーツブロアー、往復動圧縮機、スクリュ圧縮機ウェットタイプ、スクリュ圧縮機ドライタイプのそれぞれの特徴を調査し、据え付け面積という基本的な条件を満たすものとして、再びスクリュ圧縮機ドライタイプを採用する事とした。基本的な考えとして、公称排気容量10,000立方メートル/hの同じ圧縮機2台で構成して省力化および高効率化を狙い、それぞれを375kwの極数変換電動機と組合わせて2段変速を行い、合計容量を5,000立方メートル/h、10,000立方メートル/h、15,000立方メートル/h、20,000立方メートル/hの4段階に調節可能なものとした。制御方式は、風洞内部圧力の設定値と測定値との差を常に計測し、その大きさにより4段階の容量のそれぞれを自動的に割り付けて、有効な運転を行わせるものとした。また、制御室側の制御操作盤を全廃し、1987年5月に完成した主送風機制御監視システム(操作指令用計算機および制御用計算機などで構成)とオンライン化することで、現場制御操作盤と同等の監視が行え、主送風機運転員による操作が可能となり、省力化が実現した。
An exhaust system is used to control the tunnel pressure and to exchange air in the NAL 2 m x 2 m transonic wind tunnel. Due to deterioration, the exhaust system was replaced, as well as other equipment, in 1988. This paper summarizes the replacement of this system. The new system consists of two exhausters, a piping system, valves, a control system, etc. The pole change induction motor is used to drive each screw type compressor, and the total capacity of evacuation is changed in four steps. (5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000 cu m/h) This exhaust system is controlled by the sequencer linked to the main blower of the transonic wind tunnel so that the control of wind velocity and tunnel pressure becomes easier and move responsive. The adoption of a variable speed induction motor and four step manoeuvering of the two exhausters are contribute to energy saving.
