Note (General): 微小重力を利用する宇宙実験での障害となる搭乗員の動き、機械振動、特に予備試験として航空機を使用する場合に受ける振動を除くことが切望されている。ここでは粘弾性材料製制振継ぎ手を用いた制振ラックとアイソレータで構成する装置を検討し、航空機搭載用の受動制振システム実験装置を試作し、MU-300型航空機に搭載して実験した。制振ラック部は、機器搭載ラックやペイロード支持構造の共振による微小振動の増幅を1/10以下に低減できることが確認できた。またアイソレータは、最低0.1Hzからの微小振動を遮断することを目標に設計して、静的加速度のレベルによっては変位リミッタと衝突することもあったが、0.1Hz以上の振動の低減には十分に有効であった。
Motion of crew or vibration of machines etc. must be eliminated as much as possible when the experiments are executed under microgravity environment, especially when aircraft is used as a preliminary stage for the space experiment. A passive damping system was assembled and tested on MU-300 aircraft. The system consists of an isolator and a rack using damping connectors of viscoelastomer. Damping rack reduced the microvibration generated by resonance between facilities down to 1/10. The isolator was designed primarily as to isolate microvibration of order of 0.1 Hz and it showed an enough ability although this collided sometimes with the displacement limitter.
