Note (General): 本研究では、予備実験として液滴の浮遊と液滴の励震の実験を試みた。液体としてグリセリンを、液滴の浮遊法として音響浮遊の方式を用いた。スピーカにより所定の音圧を与えられた球形アクリル製容器中に注射針でグリセリン液滴を注入、浮遊させ、レーザ式外径測定器により液滴の形状を測定した。計30回の実験を行った結果、本実験装置により、グリセリン液滴の浮遊が可能であり、かつ適当な音圧レベルは152?153dBが適していることが分かった。しかし液滴の位置を保持させることは困難で、浮遊法の再検討が必要である。目的の表面張力の測定は、浮遊法が確立した後、外径測定、ビデオ画像処理により得られることになる。
In this study, floating and vibration of droplet were tried as a preliminary experiment. An acoustic floating method and glycerin were used for the purpose. The glycerin droplet was injected with a syringe into a ball-shaped vessel made of acrylic resin. Sound pressure was maintained by using a speaker. Shape of the floating droplet was measured. Through 30 experiments the following results were obtained: the floating of glycerin droplet was possible in this apparatus at the suitable sound pressure level 152-153 dB, but it was difficult to keep stable position of the droplets. The droplet-floating by this method should be more thoroughly investigated. The measurement of surface tension through diameter measurement and video image processing, follows after the completion of this method.
