• Note (General): 当研究所に設置されている極超音速風洞システムは、所内の試験需要に応えることは当然であるが、関係各機関の風試要求にも応えていかなければならない責務がある。このため、風試作業は各機関などから派遣される技術者が風洞試験作業を分担することとなり、不慣れな作業を強いられることも少なくない。作業を円滑に実施するためには、本システムに関する予備知識が必要である。しかるに極超音速風洞システムは、多くの設備・装置から構成された高度なシステムであり、風洞のデータ生産性を維持しつつ危害防止に努め試験作業を進めるためには、このような風試作業者が事前に極超音速風洞の運転制御について熟知しておく必要がある。本文は、このような立場にある技術者に対し重宝な資料を提供できるものと思う。前半ではシステムの理解に必要な運転制御システムについて概説した。後半では実際の運転操作法についてやや詳しく説明し、「大型極超音速風洞運転操作マニュアル」として活用できる内容となるよう配慮した。なお、ここでは重要性と緊急性を勘案し、大型極超音速風洞の500ブローを超える運転実績を通して体得したノウハウをベースにまとめたものであり、50cm極超音速風洞の運転制御については割愛した。; This report describes a control system and operation procedures of the NAL hypersonic wind tunnel system. The first part outlines the control system and features, and the second part gives detailed instructions as an 'operating manual of the large hypersonic wind tunnel'. The system is used for conducting tests not only of the laboratory but also of other aerospace institutes, organizations, and industries. Users sometimes find it difficult to carry out the test smoothly because the system is complex and involves many kinds of equipment, machines and sequential operation procedures.
