Note (General): 超音速機や宇宙往還機用エンジンの開発には、1,500度C以上の超高温下で安定した強度を有する材料を開発することが重要な課題になっている。先進耐熱材料であるセラミック材、セラミック系複合材およびC/C複合材は、超高温下で使用可能な材料として期待されている。これらの先進耐熱材料を構造部材として適用するためには、超高温下での材料特性を調べる必要がある。原動機材料構造研究室では、大気中超高温環境下での先進耐熱材料の引張材料特性を調べる目的で、超高温用引張試験装置および光学式伸び計を用いた計測システムを構築した。SiC/SiC複合材試験片を用いて行った本計測システムの加熱予備試験では、1,580度Cまで加熱できることを確認した。なお、光学式伸び計による計測状況を調べるため、予備評価試験として光学式伸び計の測定誤差を調べると共に、ステンレス鋼(SUS304)試験片を用いて、室温(25度C)、500度C、600度Cの引張試験を行った。また、セラミック系複合材のSi-Ti-C-O繊維結合型複合材(宇部興産製、以後チラノヘックスと記述する)試験片を用いた大気中1,200度Cの超高温環境下で行った引張試験の計測例を示す。本報では、計測システムの機器構成内容、光学的変位計測精度および本計測システムを用いた予備評価試験結果について述べる。
This paper describes a high temperature test system to evaluate high temperature elongation and tensile strength of heat resistant composites in the atmosphere. High temperature tests on heat resistant composites were conducted as calibration tests of the extensometer device to clarify the high temperature deformation behavior of heat resistant materials. The performance of a noncontact (optical) extensometer was confirmed over 1,580 C. In the preliminary test that examined the measurement situation of the optical extensometer, tensile tests were performed at room temperature, 500 C and 600 C using stainless steel (SUS 304) specimens. Experiments on tensile tests using a ceramic composite material specimen at 1,200 C are described.
