Note (General): 航空宇宙技術研究所(NAL)とNASDAはH-2ロケット打上げ型有翼回収機(HOPE)の研究開発の一環として、宇宙往還技術試験機(HOPE-X)形状機体の自動着陸技術の実証などを目的とした小型自動着陸実験(ALFLEX)計画を進めて来たが、1995年10月から1996年1月にヘリコプタによる懸吊試験を伊勢湾上空で実施し、1996年6月から8月に自動着陸実験を豪州南オーストラリア州のウーメラ飛行場で実施した。本報告はこのALFLEXプロジェクトの推進に伴うNAL、NASDA、メーカおよび豪州関係者を含めた実施・協力体制および広報活動、実験実施環境整備などの一般管理に関することがらについてまとめたものである。
ALFLEX (Automatic Landing Flight Experiment) was conducted to establish automatic landing technology for the space reentry vehicle HOPE (H-2 rocket Orbiting Plane). National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) and NASDA, cooperating the HOPE program, jointly organized a team and carried out the preliminary experiment at Nagoya in Japan and the automatic landing experiment at Woomera in Australia. This paper describes the administration of general affairs for the domestic hanging flight test and the automatic landing flight experiment in Australia.
