• Note (General): ここに示す研究では、振動熱毛細管流動への遷移機構を明らかにするために、低Pr(プラントル数)液体における熱的および流体力学的挙動を実験、数値解析、および線形安定性解析により調べた。本報では、Sn溶融材の様な低Pr数液体の半領域液橋における実験的研究について述べる。液橋の自由表面での温度変動を、振動熱毛細管流動への遷移点を検出する前に測定した。熱毛細管流動を観察し測定する実験装置は、真空容器、溶融体供給容器、現場観察装置、および真空測定装置から成る。溶融錫は、溶融温度と蒸気圧が低いために、これら実験の試料に用いた。2つの純鉄の柱は、湿気を帯びても化学反応は起こらないので、地上で液橋を形成し支えるために使用した。熱毛細管流動は自由表面に自然に発生するスラグを追跡することによって確認し、そして温度変動をIR(赤外)画像装置で検出した。温度変動の最小の振動数は、温度差20Kにおいて、直径10mm、高さ4.5mmの液橋で0.56Hzであった。; In the research presented herein, thermal and hydrodynamic behaviors in a low Pr (Prandtl) number liquid were investigated by experiment, numerical analysis, and linear stability analysis to clarify the transition mechanism toward oscillatory thermocapillary flow. In this section, experimental studies in the half zone liquid bridge of a low Prandtl number liquid such as Sn molten material were described. Temperature fluctuations on the free surface of the liquid bridge are measured before detecting the transition point toward the oscillatory thermocapillary flow. Experimental equipment for observing and measuring thermocapillary flow was comprised of a vacuum chamber, a melt supplying chamber, an in-situ observation system, and a vacuum measurement system. Molten tin, selected for its low melting point and low vapor pressure, provided the specimens for these experiments. Two pure iron columns, between which little chemical reaction will occur even when wet, were used to form and sustain the liquid bridge on ground. Thermocapillary flows were confirmed by tracking the slug generated naturally on a free surface, and temperature fluctuations were detected by IR (Infrared) imager. The minimum frequency of temperature fluctuation was 0.56 Hz on a liquid bridge of 10 mm in diameter and 4.5 mm in height at a temperature difference of 20 K.; 資料番号: AA0002209004; レポート番号: NASDA-TMR-990007E
