Note (General): 本研究の目標は液橋における振動熱対流流動に基づく自由表面振動の存在を数値的に解析することである。この解析の対象はいわゆる半領域モデルである。これは2つの平行した円盤の間にわたした液橋から成る。境界適応座標法(BFC)が用い、2次元および3次元の両方の解析を、連続方程式、ナビエ-ストークス方程式およびエネルギー方程式を用いて行った。2次元の定常の温度場、圧力場、流れ場を計算した。自由表面の形状は、液体体積と表面張力から求めた。定常状態から振動状態への遷移が見られ、振動流動は低温場の巻き込みによるものであった。自由表面の変形は、2次元および3次元解析の両方において、圧力場に依存した。自由表面は、圧力の低い領域で凹状となり、圧力の高い領域で凸状になった。
The goal of this study is to analyze numerically the existence of free surface vibrations due to oscillatory thermoconvective flow in a liquid bridge. Object of the analysis is the so called half zone model. It consists of a liquid bridge suspended between two parallel disks. Boundary Fitted Coordinate (BFC) method is used. Two dimensional and three dimensional analyses are conducted using the continuity, the Navier-Stokes and the energy equations. Two dimensional steady temperature, pressure and flow fields were calculated. The free surface shape was determined by the liquid volume and surface tension. The transition from steady to oscillatory regime occurred. Oscillatory flow was caused by rolling up of the cold fields. The free surface deformation was dependent on the surface pressure in both of two dimensional and three dimensional analyses. The free surface was concave at the low pressure region, and was convex at the high pressure region.
