• Note (General): 1G空間における人間の視空間構造特性は常に重力に規定されているが、低重量環境下においては、自分の体軸をリファランスとすることで全ての作業空間を規定することができる。宇宙空間におけるヒトの順応過程を行動科学的に考察する時、視覚的認知、眼と手の協応動作、眼と頭部･頸部の協応運動などに重力の果たす役割を考察しなければならないがこのことが本研究の目的である。無重力空間では、1G下において常に重力で上下関係を規定されているものにとって、垂直方向の自由度が増大する、すなわち空間が垂直的に拡大したといえるかもしれない。一方、後頸筋の筋電図活動のうち、重力に依存する反射性活動は無重量下では顕著に低下乃至消失するが、大脳からの下降性指令による活動と、視標追跡時における眼球運動との共同活動は無重量下でも影響されがたいことが予想される。この実験では、すばやい眼の動きである、衝動性眼球運動(saccadic eye movement)ではどのように変化するかを明らかにした。例えば右方の物を見る場合には眼球と共に、頭部が右方へ回転する。頭部を固定した状態での視標の追跡に際しては、頭部の回転運動は出現しないが、頚筋に筋活動が引き起こされると思われる。このような視標追跡時の頸筋(僧帽筋)の筋電図活動を眼球運動と共に観察し、無重量下での変化を宇宙滞在期間中の順応の観点から検討した。入手したデータは、(1)画像データ、(2)デジタルデータ、(3)スチール写真であった。実験結果を総合すると、(1)眼球運動は重力の有無で変化はみられない、(2)抗重力筋である僧帽筋の活動は低重力環境下で極度に抑制された、(3)眼球運動と抗重力筋の協応運動はみられなかった、(4)低重力環境の時間経過に関する順応は顕著でなかった、(5)自己内省報告には空間識の混乱を思わせる記録が残されていた。(6)飛行後の行動と被験者の感覚には一致しないところがあった。このような結果を総合的に考察すると、知覚系(視覚、前庭)からの入力と運動系、特に抗重力筋を中心とした運動系の協応動作系は、初期の低重力環境下においては調和しておらず、そのことはヒト自身意識したり認識できていない、あるいは誤って認識している可能性が示唆されるものと思われる。; In 1 G space, gravity always determines human visual space structural property. However, in microgravity environment, all work space by using the body axis as reference can be determined. This study aims to examine the role of gravity for visual cognition, cooperative motion between eyes and hands, and cooperative behaviors between eyes and the head and neck. As a whole, this study can also be considered as a part of study on human adaptation process in the outer space. In the weightless space, those whose top and bottom are always determined in the 1 G space will become vertically freer. In another words, the space will vertically enlarge. The gravity-dependent reflection activities of the back neck muscle on the electromyogram remarkably decreases or disappears in a weightless state. However, the weightless state is not likely to affect the activities according to the descending order from the cerebrum and the cooperative activity with the eyeball movement when following a target tracking. This experiment reveals how the saccadic eye movement or quick eye movement changes. For example, when seeing something in the right, not only the eyeballs, but also the head turns to the right. When the head is fixed, seeing a target tracking does not cause the head turning movement, but may cause the neck muscle activity. Such neck muscle (trapezius) activity following a target tracking was observed with the eyeball movement on the electromyogram in order to examine the change in a weightless state in terms of adaptation in the outer space. The collected data consist of image data, digital data, and still photographs. This experiment provided the following results: (1) the presence of gravity does not affect the eyeball movement; (2) the activity of the trapezius, which is an antigravity muscle, was extremely inhibited in microgravity environment; (3) no cooperative movement was observed between the eyeball and antigravity muscles; (4) adaptation to the microgravity environment was not clearly associated with time; (5) subjective introspection report included a record that may indicate the confused space sense; and (6) some movements after flight were not correspondent with the subject's sense. Examining these results suggests that the cooperative movement system between the input from the sensory system (visual sensation and the vestibule) and the movement system, such as antigravity muscles, may not work properly in the early stage of microgravity environment, and that human beings cannot realize or recognize it, or may improperly recognize it.; 資料番号: AA0004115005; レポート番号: NASDA-TMR-940002 V.1
