• Note (General): 機械を運転するオペレータの特性が、宇宙環境では地上とどのように違うかを調べ、宇宙における人間-機械系設計の基礎資料を得るとともに、人間の知覚-動作機能解明の一助にする目的で、宇宙実験を含む手動制御研究がすすめられて来たが、1993年9月にスペースシャトルのSTS-47飛行に搭載された第1次材料実験(FMPT)の1テーマとして、手動制御の宇宙実験および地上対照実験が実施された。その結果、次のような無重力の影響が明らかになった。宇宙酔いにより、手動制御特性が劣化した。視線移動および焦点変更が負担となり、輝点は周辺視を利用して見た。これは体液シフトの影響である可能性が強い。手首の動きの反作用としての体の動きを押さえる作業負担が大きかった。腕時計の慣性力が大きいと感じて腕からはずした。これは抗重力筋が弛緩していたことの影響と考えられる。宇宙での動作は総じて緩慢であるが、手動制御作業では地上と同じ速さの動作をせざるを得なかった。これは手動制御作業が、人間の活動を定量的に規定する指標に利用可能なことを示している。数値データについて周波数領域での解析を行った結果、宇宙実験におけるオペレータ記述関数は無駄時間を伴う微分特性を示した。地上実験におけるオペレータ記述関数ではこれに低周波利得の増大、リグレッション(高周波利得の減少)が加わって複雑な形状になっていると考えられる。無駄時間は宇宙実験で増加し、帰還後の地上実験では速やかに回復した。リグレッションは宇宙実験で消失し、帰還後の地上実験では再び回復したが、無駄時間の変化に較べ緩やかな変化であった。; The space manual control has been studied in the outer space and ground experiments for investigating operators' behavioral difference between the cosmic environment and the ground, for obtaining the basic information on human-machine system design in the outer space, and for understanding human perception and motor functions. In September 1993, a space and ground control experiments on manual control were carried out as a theme of the First Material Processing Test (FMPT) on the Space Shuttle, STS-47 flight. The results showed the following weightless effects. Space motor sickness decreased manual control quality. An space operator saw a shining point by the peripheral vision because visual axis movement and focal point change were difficult possibly due to body fluid shift. Much work load was necessary to support body against the reaction to wrist movement. The operator took off his wrist watch because he felt its large inertial force. This was probably because of relaxed antigravity muscles. Although movement in the outer space is generally slow, the operator had to do the manual control work at the same speed as on the ground. This fact indicates that manual control work is useful as a index to quantitate human activities. Analyzing numerical data in the frequency range showed that the space operator's descriptive function had differential property with dead time. The function in the ground experiment may be more complex because increased low frequency gain and regression (decreased high frequency gain) are involved. The dead time increased in the space experiment and quickly returned to normal in the ground experiment after returning. The regression disappeared in the space experiment and returned to normal in the ground experiment after returning.
