• Note (General): 航空宇宙技術研究所の2m×2m遷音速風洞の測定胴の改修により、測定胴の一部を構成している可変ノズル装置も改修された。この報告では、始めに従来の可変ノズル装置の構造と制御手順について述べ、次に可変ノズル装置の改修にあたっての課題と改修の方法について述べる。従来の可変ノズル装置の駆動機構は、10台の油圧モータとジャッキによりノズル形状を変化させていたが、今回の改修によって、ノズル形状の変化を電動モータとジャッキによる駆動機構へと変更した。可変ノズルの可撓壁形状の制御機構は、従来は機械的なカムによってノズル形状を決定していたが、整備と制御の簡便さを考慮して、計算機によるノズル形状の制御機構へと変更した。新しくなった制御機構の構成、制御手順について述べるとともに、改修した可変ノズル装置の動作試験の結果についても触れる。; As part of a large-scale refurbishment of the NAL (National Aerospace Laboratory) 2 x 2 m Transonic Wind Tunnel, the flexible nozzle system has undergone the replacement of its driving and control mechanisms. This paper describes the content of the new mechanisms together with an outline of the replacement process. The driving mechanism, which is used to set the nozzle wall contour through positioning all ten jacks attached to the wall, is changed from a hydraulic-based system to an electric-based one taking advantage of the recent development in the power range of electric servo-motors. The choice of the electric system was made based on the standpoint of the maintainability and controllability. The control mechanism is changed from a mechanical analog system to a computer-controlled digital system. In the former system, a set of cams, one for each of ten jacks, was employed to determine the jack positions in a coordinated manner. In the new system, each jack motion is ruled independently from the others by the instruction from the computer.
