Note (General): 近年、ヘリコプタの事故による死傷者数が急増している。これはヘリコプタの登録台数が増えたこと、従来からの薬剤散布や物資の輸送に加えてコミュータとしての利用やレジャーなど人員の大量輸送利用が増えたことが考えられる。事故の内容について見ると相変わらず高圧線や木材搬出用索道への接触事故、薬剤散布中における電線などへの接触事故が絶えない。科学技術庁ではヘリコプタの事故原因の究明に資する資料を得ることを目的として、1990年度に「ヘリコプタの運航安全に関する緊急研究」を実施した。本研究ではまず第一に、(1)山間部や谷間に渡峡するケーブル･高圧線などの視認性、(2)模擬薬剤散布時におけるパイロット視覚情報取得に関する飛行実験を実施した。本報告はこれら実験の内容および結果について報告する。
Recently, the number of dead and injured by helicopter accidents has been rapidly increasing. One of the reasons is that the number of helicopters being utilized by commuters and for leisure is increasing, in addition to use for spraying agricultural chemicals or for cargo transportation. Among the accidents, there are still many cases in which contact is made with power lines when spraying of an agricultural chemical. The National Aerospace Laboratory of the Science and Technology Agency (STA) conducted an urgent research for helicopter transportation safety in order to study the causal factors of helicopter accidents. In the research, several experiments were conducted. This report describes the following two cases based on in-flight experiment recordings: (1) flight experiment results to measure the helicopter pilot's visibility of high-voltage cables which exist in a mountainous region; and (2) flight experiment to obtain helicopter pilot's visibility acquisition performance when spraying of an agricultural chemical.
