Note (General): スクラムジェットエンジン内の化学反応を簡略化し、燃料の着火、燃焼そしてノズルでの化学反応機構を解析的に調べた。着火から燃焼完結までの過程は、ラジカルに関する位相空間の特異点間の解の移動で表される。着火解まわりの展開から着火に及ぼすラジカル種の影響度が計算され、さらに着火に及ぼす発熱の影響を調べた。同様な手法で燃焼過程やノズル内反応流が解析でき、燃焼速度に及ぼすH2Oの抑制効果を検討した。得られた2段あるいは1段の簡略化反応モデルを従来のモデルと比較し、さらに燃焼器のステップ周りでの保炎問題について議論した。
Reduced kinetics for chemical reactions in scramjet engines were investigated. Ignition, combustion in combustors and reactive flow in nozzles are described using a phase plane for radical concentrations. The effectiveness of radicals introduced to ignite premixtures was studied using analytical solutions representing time histories of three radical concentrations. The contribution of exothermicity to ignition delay and burning rate as well as inhibition caused by H2O were elucidated using simplified asymptotic analysis for H2/02 systems. New reduced kinetic models for H2 combustion are proposed and compared with other models. Characteristics of ignition and flame-holding in scramjet combustors are discussed using the model derived here.
