• Note (General): 有人宇宙往還機の飛行誘導制御研究の一環として、その基礎技術確立のために進入/着陸時の飛行特性評価を目的として飛行シミュレーション試験を実施した。本資料ではその結果について述べる。飛行シミュレータは航空宇宙技術研究所(NAL)既設の汎用飛行シミュレータを一部改修して利用した。宇宙往還機として極超音速形態機を想定し、米国スペースシャトルの空力データを利用した。また、着陸方式もシャトルの方式を模擬した。評価項目は次の点である。(1)飛行性(安定性、操縦性)、(2)新飛行援助方式及びその計器表示方式、(3)飛行シミュレータ機能。試験の結果、今回模擬した宇宙往還機の操縦は従来の航空パイロットから見て特に困難ではないと評価された。また宇宙往還機用飛行シミュレータに必要な機能・性能が一部判明した。; As a part of the research program on guidance and control of manned space transportation vehicles, a flight simulation test was conducted to evaluate flying qualities of a space vehicle during the approach and landing phase. In order to conduct the simulation test, the existing NAL general purpose flight simulator was modified, and the aerodynamic data and the approach and landing pattern of the U.S. Space Shuttle was applied. Evaluation items are as follows: Flying quality (stability and controllability); New flight aid system and its display format; Function of flight simulator The test results indicate that the space transportation vehicle simulated was not difficult for conventional aircraft pilots to fly.
