過去30年間のCFD(計算流体力学)の発展と今日の傾向について概説した。CFDにおける新しい手法、すなはち、格子ボルツマン法および標位関数法について紹介した。これらの手法による数値計算結果も示した。最後に、21世紀のCFDへの期待について論じた。
Development of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) in the past three decades and today's trend in CFD are reviewed. New approaches in CFD, i.e., the Lattice Boltzmann method and the Level Set method are introduced. Numerical results by using these approaches are also presented. Finally prospect of CFD in 2lst century is discussed.
