2次元の翼周りの流れを低速度でシミュレーションした。この研究では、定常解または準定常解を求めるために、2つの方法を試みた。マトリックスフリーのLU-SGS(Lower-Upper Symmetric Gauss Siedel)陰解法と、陰解法と陽解法を結合したハイブリッド法である。乱流モデルについては、ボールドウィン-ロマックス・モデルまたは乱流のないモデルを、圧縮型ナビエ-ストークス方程式に適用した。これらの計算結果は、実験データとよく合っていた。
The flow around a 2-D (two dimensional) airfoil is simulated at a low speed. In this study two schemes are considered: the matrix-free LU-SGS (Lower-Upper Symmetric Gauss Siedel) implicit scheme and the explicit/implicit hybrid scheme to obtain steady or quasi-steady state solutions. Regarding turbulence model, either the Baldwin-Lomax model or no turbulence model is applied to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Results of these calculations are well compared with experimental data.
