• Note (General): 航空宇宙技術研究所 7-9 Jun. 2000 東京 日本; National Aerospace Laboratory 7-9 Jun. 2000 Tokyo Japan; 並列型計算機は、分散主記憶型、共有型をネットワークで結合したクラスタ型などに分類できる。ここでは、スカラ型の共有主記憶計算機(GP7000)を用いて、スカラ計算機の持つ特徴と共有主記憶型およびそれをネットワークで結合したクラスタ型計算機の持つ特徴を調べた。計測に用いたプログラムは、CPU性能評価に関しては3次元ナビエ-ストークス方程式を解くアプリケーションプログラムNS3Dを、データ転送性能にはMPI(相互通信インタフェース)で書かれた転送テストプログラムを用いた。並列計算の性能解析には2次元ラプラス方程式の解法プログラムを用いた。CPUの性能とキャッシュメモリーの間の関係と、転送待ち時間とバンド幅との関係を求めた。CFD(計算流体力学)プログラムとの整合性について解析した。これらの結果から、スカラ型のプログラミングスタイル、ノード間の転送性能を評価し、アプリケーションプログラムとの整合性について検討した。; Parallel computers can be classified into separate memory computers, cluster computers which connect common memory computers with network, etc. In the present report, the characteristics of scalar computers, common memory computers, and cluster computers were studied using a scalar common memory computer, GP7000. The CPU performance and data transfer performance were estimated with an application program NS3D, 3D (three dimensional) Navier-Stokes solver and with a transport program of the MPI (Message Passing Interface) library, respectively. The performance of parallel computing was analyzed by using a 2D (two dimensional) Laplace equation solver. The relation between the CPU performance and cache memory and also the relation between the transfer latency and bandwidth were obtained. The compatibility with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) programs was analyzed. Based on these results, the programming style and the transfer performance of scalar computers were evaluated and the consistency with the application programs was discussed.; 資料番号: AA0028635044; レポート番号: NAL SP-46
