軸対称超音速パルスジェット噴流が、すぐ後方に位置する垂直頭シリンダに衝突する音波の数値シミュレーションを実施した。これを支配するオイラー方程式は、円柱座標で書き表し、シリンダ周りの流れ場は、TVD(全変動減少)有限差分法で研究した。結果として、衝撃波と垂直頭面の渦構造の間の強い相互作用のため、強い音波が形成されたことが分かった。衝突圧のはね返り機構の詳細は数値的に明らかになり、これは前回の実測値と非常に良く一致している。
A numerical investigation of the sound produced by an axisymmetric supersonic pulse jet impinging on a truncated cylinder is performed. The Euler equations in the axisymmetric coordinate system are used. Flow field around the body is investigated in detail with a TVD (Total Variation Diminishing) finite difference scheme. It is confirmed that strong sound pressure waves are generated due to strong interactions between shock waves and vortical structures. The detailed feed back mechanism of impinging tones is confirmed numerically, which are quite consistent with the previous experiments.
