• Note (General): 航空宇宙技術研究所 27-29 Sept.2000 東京 日本; National Aerospace Laboratory 27-29 Sept.2000 Tokyo Japan; 後退翼上で直交流支配遷移をする時の直交流不安定性の強非線形性問題を検討した。定在波支配直交流境界層の崩壊領域に関するデータを準備するため、境界層構造が結果的に乱流に変わる2次不安定性過程を検討した。45度後退翼の境界層内の平均および変動速度成分をアリゾナ州立大学の非定常風洞を使って測定した。モデルは自然層流設計とした。崩壊直前の代表的平均流等高線を計測した。高周波2次不安定性変動は、通常はスパン方向変曲点が支配的2次不安定性モードを支持することを明らかにした。2次不安定性は崩壊直前に急速に拡大し、崩壊の位置は最大2次不安定性活動度の位置に関係する。2次不安定性データは既報研究報告に記載の計算結果と定性的によく一致することを示した。; The problem of strongly non-linear nature of the crossflow instability at the crossflow-dominated transition on a swept wing was investigated. The secondary instability process, by which the boundary layer structure result to turbulent flow, was investigated in order to provide data on the breakdown region of a stationary-wave-dominated crossflow boundary layer. The mean and fluctuating velocity components in the boundary layer of a 45 deg swept wing were measured in the Arizona State University (ASU) unsteady wing tunnel. The model is a natural laminar flow design. A typical mean flow contour just prior to breakdown was measured. High frequency secondary instability fluctuation revealed that it is usually the spanwise inflection point that supports the dominant secondary instability mode. The secondary instability grows very rapidly just prior to breakdown, and the location of breakdown can be correlated to the location of maximum secondary instability activity.
