• Note (General): 4 Oct. 2000; 環境問題として、騒音低減に対する要求が厳しくなってきているヘリコプタ機外騒音についての基礎的説明と、研究結果について概説した。ヘリコプタのICAO基準値は、多くのヘリコプタが当初の1980年設定値を満足しないため、1985年に再設定された。現用ヘリコプタの騒音レベルは年々低下してきており、本研究の低減目標としてICAO基準値に対し10EPNdBに設定した。騒音の発生源で主なものはメインロータとテールロータである。騒音としてはHSI(高速衝撃)騒音とBVI(ブレード/渦干渉)騒音に分けられる。メインロータのブレード翼端形状の工夫により性能で5〜10%、機外騒音で3〜5dB改善した。またロータ面仰角0度〜4度のBVI条件で5枚ブレードの騒音は4枚ブレードに対して約3dB低下した。テールロータの低騒音化ではダクテッドテールロータを採用し、ブレード間隔を不等間隔にすることにより騒音のピーク値を下げることができた。ブレードピッチ角を高周波で制御する技術およびアクティブフラップ技術などの先進技術の研究もスタートした。着陸進入時に6度の代わりに9度の経路角で進入することにより機外騒音は4dB低減した。これら騒音低減法を適用することにより目標値達成の目処を得た。; This is a summary of the causes of and results of current research into outside-of-body noise of helicopters, in view of the growing demand for noise-reduction as part of the environmental problem. The standard value set by ICAO was revised in 1985, because most helicopters did not satisfy the initial value set in 1980. Since the noise-level of the existing helicopters has been decreasing year after year, the present study has set up the goal of the reduction to 10 EPNdB (Effective Perceived Noise Decibel) less than the ICAO standard value. The major sources of the noise reside in the main rotor and the tail rotor. The noise can be divided into that by HSI (High Speed Impulse) and that by BVI (Blade Vortex Interference). Improvements of the blade-tip shape of the main rotor resulted in the higher performance in the range of 10 to 15 percent and in the reduction of 3 to 5 dB of the outside-of-body noise. Moreover, under the BVI condition with the rotor's elevation-angle at 0 to 4 degrees, the noise of the five blades was 3 dB less than that of the four blades. As for the tail-rotor, adoption of a ducted rotor and non-uniform spacing of blades resulted in the reduction of the peak noise-value. Studies on advanced technologies such as the control of the blade pitch-angle by high frequency waves and active flap have also started. The adoption of nine degrees instead of six degrees as the approach angle for landing resulted in the reduction of 4 dB in the outside-the-body noise.
