加圧胴体試験物品の疲労試験中において縦通し材ラップジョイントのリベットヘッドの下に発生した見えない割れの進行と過去10年以内の文献に集積された短い亀裂進行速度とを相関することを試みた。種々の荷重条件下で、皿リベット穴から生じた割れに関する文献中に見つけた応力拡大係数に、提案した方法は基づいている。樽構造の汎用有限要素解析、3列重ね継手および実験計測で境界条件を導いた3次元有限要素モデルを使用して単リベット・ラップジョイントの詳細な応力解析をし、この応力集中係数を導出した。
An attempt was made to correlate propagation of invisible cracks originated under rivet head in longitudinal lap joint during fatigue tests of pressurized fuselage test articles and short crack growth rate data accumulated in literature within past decade. An approach proposed in the study is based on stress intensity factors, which were found in the literature for cracks emanating from countersunk rivet holes under different loading conditions. The latter were obtained from detailed stress analyses of single rivet lap joint using 3-D finite-element models in which boundary conditions were derived from global finite element analyses of barrel structure and three-row lap joint as well as from experimental measurements.
