Note (General): 航空機があ事故により破損に至る様な衝撃環境に遭遇した場合、搭乗者の生存率や搭載物に伝わる荷重をある許容限度内のレベルまで低減することを目標に現有落下式衝撃試験装置を用いて衝撃吸収部材の研究を進めてきたが、当装置の負荷エネルギーが最大413Jと小容量であるため開発した衝撃吸収装置の実用形態での性能確認や試験レンジの設定範囲などに多くの制約が発生した。また、計画する航空機構造模型の落下衝撃試験の実施にも対応できる負荷容量の大きな装置が必要となった。開発した装置は構造要素の落下衝撃試験に於いて想定される最大負荷エネルギー5kJと供試体の各種取付方法に対応できることを条件とした。ここでは、開発に当たって考案した個々の要素と計測システムとして新規に導入した高速度デジタルビデオカメラ装置の概要ならびに胴体下部造模型を用いた装置に性能確認試験について報告する。
This paper describes the specifications of a falling-weight impact testing machine developed by NAL. The new in-house testing machine has a maximum impact energy capacity of 5 kJ and is suitable for studying the behavior of energy-absorbing structural elements and the dynamic fracture of small-scale structural models. The system is equipped with a high-speed data acquisition system including a digital high-speed video recorder.
