• Note (General): 自己拡散と相互拡散との間のDarken'sの関係式を検証するためTR-1A-7ロケットの飛行時に自己拡散係数と相互拡散係数の測定実験を計画した。Ag-Cu合金は化学反応性が低く試料取り扱いが簡単で本研究に適しているが、Ag-Cu系は共晶合金であるため凝固上の問題を持っている。この問題を回避するためシアセル手法を検討した。合金とるつぼ材との反応性試験、液体Ag-Cu系の蒸発特性、および試料調製など実験準備の概要を記述した。1つのカートリッジに10個の拡散対が入るシアセルを開発した。実験中の試料の体積変化に対処するためタングステンばねで直径1.5mmの試料に圧力をかけた。接触角が大きく、合金との反応性が無いので、るつぼの材料に窒化ホウ素を選択した。セルのわずかな隙間を通って試料が蒸発するのを防ぐため、合金の蒸発特性を試験した。試料重量の減少を熱重量分析および示差熱分析を用いて測定した。分析結果から最高実験温度を1,260度Cに決定した。Ag-Cu合金の試料調製前の脱酸素工程を検討した。脱酸素した材料から調製した試料の表面は脱酸素しないものに比較して良好であった。適切な試料調製方法を見出すため、拡散試料の濃度分布均一性および縦収縮を検討した。拡散実験時の濃度分布の変化を計算し、拡散試料の長さを10mmと決定した。; The measurement experiment of self- and mutual-diffusion coefficients was planned in the flight of TR-1A-7 rocket to verify the Darken's relationship between them. The Ag-Cu alloys are suitable for the investigation because of easiness of sample handling due to low chemical reactivity. However, the Ag-Cu system has a solidification problem since the system is a eutectic alloy. The shear cell technique was investigated to avoid the problem. Described is an outline of the experimental preparations in terms of reactivity test of the alloy with a crucible material, vaporization characteristics of liquid Ag-Cu system and sample preparation. A shear cell was developed, which contains ten diffusion couples in one cartridge. A sample of 1.5 mm in diameter is pushed by a tungsten spring to cope with the volume change of the sample during the experiment. Boron nitride was chosen as a material for crucible because of its high contact angle and less reactivity with the alloy. Vaporization characteristic of the alloy was tested to prevent the sample to vaporize through the slight gap of the cell. The reduction of the sample weight was measured by the use of the thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses. The maximum experimental temperature was determined to be 1,260 C from the analytical results. Prior to determining the sample preparation of Ag-Cu alloys, deoxidation procedure was examined. The sample made of deoxidized material had better surface than that made without deoxidation. Uniformity of concentration profile and longitudinal shrinkage of the diffusion sample were investigated to find a suitable way for preparing a sample. The change of the concentration profile during a diffusion experiment was calculated and the length of a diffusion sample was decided to be 10 mm.; 資料番号: AA0029039008; レポート番号: NASDA-TMR-000013E
