Note (General): 地上における液体拡散係数の測定は浮力対流のために困難である。しかし拡散機構を明らかにするためには、高温における高精度な液体拡散係数が必要である。地上における液体拡散係数を測定し、地上実験の限界を把握するために、せん断セル技法に基づく地上での拡散実験技術を確立した。この技術は、薄く均一な試料の作成と拡散試料濃度の分析法である。拡散対としてはAgとAg(0.95)Au(0.05)を選択し、1,273Kで4分間拡散した。1,273Kにおける拡散係数として、3.0×10(exp -9)平方メートル/sを得た。
It is hard to measure the liquid diffusion coefficients on the ground because of the buoyancy convection. The highly precise liquid diffusion coefficient at high temperature is needed to clarify the diffusion mechanisms. In order to measure the liquid diffusion coefficients on the ground and to grasp the limitation of the ground experiments, the techniques for ground diffusion experiments based on the shear cell method was established. This technique is how to make thin and uniform samples and how to analyze the concentration of diffusion samples. The diffusion couple of Ag and Ag(0.95)Au(0.05) was selected and diffused at 1,273 K for four minutes. The diffusion coefficient was obtained as 3.0 x 10(exp -9) sq m/sec at 1.273 K.
