Note (General): 静的風胴試験時における模型姿勢角の測定方法として,小形加速度計を供試模型内に組み込み,直接姿勢角を測定する方式を試みた。また,その実用性を調べるための実験を航空宇宙技術研究所・吹出式超音速風胴で行ない,所期の性能が得られることを確認した。本方式の原理は,地球重力場内に置かれた加速度計の出力が,その鉛直面内の傾き角度の正弦に比例して変化することを利用し,逆に加速度計出力より姿勢角そのものを求めようとするものであり,そのためには加速度計の静特性をあらかじめ知る必要がある。実験に使用した加速度計は,小型化が割合に容易な片持梁式のもので,予備実験では一般に市販されている定格値2.0gのものを,本実験では0.5gのものを特に製作させて使用した。模型組み込み前に行なった加速度計単体の静特性試験の結果,使用角度範囲(θ=-20°～0°～+20°)の非直線性は,二種類とも0.2％以内で,また10分間のドリフト値を含めた角度分解能は,2.0g加速度計の場合5′以内,0.5g加速度計の場合1.5′以内であった。本方式を用いた実風胴での試験はAGARD-B標準模型内に上記加速度計を組み込んで行ない,通風試験中の模型姿勢角について,スティングの傾き角を測定し,さらに天秤,スティング等のたわみ補正を行なう従来の方式と本方式とで同時に測定して比較したが,すべての実験で0.1°以内の偏差に入っていることを確めた。また,この実験により,加速度計を用いる内装角度計方式が充分に実用になり,さらにその取り扱いの簡便さの点で従来の方式より優れていることが判った。
