Note (General): The diffusion flame was analyzed in the forward stagnation region of a simulated liquid fuel drop by applying a flame sheet model and a boundary layer theory. Radial profiles were derived for the concentrations of oxygen, nitrogen, fuel and the burned gas, and the temperature. The results show reasonable correspondence with experimental results obtained in the authors' previous work. Effects of some factors that could not be clarified in the experiments were known analytically. It was found, for instance, that cooling of the simulated fuel drop caused significant decrease of the fuel vapor pressure at the liquid surface and also caused the flame sheet to approach the surface.
