Note (General): 1/4翼弦線の後退角20度,翼面のアスペクト比およびテーパ比それぞれ4.0および0.4の平面形で,気流方向翼型NACA-65A0012の片持翼模型により,翼面のみの場合とエンジンポッドの外形を有する質量を取り付けた場合について,NALの遷音速フラッタ試験設備を用いてマッハ数0.756～0.978の範囲で実験を行なって遷音速フラッタ特性を調べて,先に行なった同一平面形の平板翼のフラッタ特性との比較を行なった。フラッタ特性は,平板翼模型の場合と同様にマッハ数0.9の近傍で安定領域が最も狭く,マッハ数がそれより増減すると安定領域は増加する傾向を示し,また実験を行なったマッハ数の高い部分で,ポッド付の場合を除いて翼型断面を有する翼の方が平板翼よりも安定領域が広い結果を得た。尚実験中のレイノルズ数は約10(exp 6)以上である。
