Note (General): 2ジンバル磁気軸受モーメンタムホィールによる能動ニューテーション制御は,特にジンバル軸のスティクショントルクが無いこと,復元バネ定数が可変であること,更に余分なメカニズムを用いずにジンバリング機能が存在することなどの利点を有しているため,すぐれた制御方式であるといえる。また,衛星のニューテーション運動は,充分な精度で磁気軸受制御用位置センサにより検出することができるため,精度的に限界がある衛星の姿勢センサを使用しなくてすむ。能動的に磁気軸受の径方向制御軸を連成(クロスカップリング)させることによって,ニューテーションをより効果的に減衰させる新しい方法を提案し,詳細にそのシステムを解析した。解析解および計算機シミュレーションの結果,ニューテーション減衰時定数が,この連成効果が無い場合に比べて,約1/20に短縮できることが明らかになった。
Active nutation damping using a double gimballed magnetic bearing momentum wheel will be a far superior system, with its emphasis on the no stiction torque of the gimbal axes, the inherent adjustable restoring stiffness of the tilting motion and the virtually vernier gimballing capability without any additional mechanism. The nutational motion of the spacecraft can be detected by the position sensors of the magnetic bearing servo system with a sufficient accuracy without using any of the spacecraft attitude sensors. An intensive cross-coupling method between the two axes to reduce the nutation is proposed and the control system is analyzed in detail. Analytical results and computer simulations show that the nutation damping time constant is shortened by about 1/20 as compared with the gimbal system without cross-coupling effect.
