- 出版タイプ: NAAcoustic Emission Characteristics were investigated for various failure modes (such as fibre breakage, matrix crazing and delamination) of Boron reinforced Alminum Composite materials. Tensile Tests were conducted on four types of specimens (unidirectional, 0°/90°ply, boron fibre and shear lag test pieces). The results show that the A.E. Characteristics (count rate, amplitude distribution and location) differ with the failure mode. The A.E. amplitude was above 90 dB for the fibre breakage of the unidirectional ply test piece but below 90 dB for the transverse one of cross ply, which fractured at a low level load, while the shear lag test pieces produce and acoustic emission amplitude in the range of 40~60dB under delamination fracture mode.資料番号: NALTR0927000レポート番号: NAL TR-927
