• Note (General): 宇宙用スリップリングのブラシ材料として最適な組成を見いだすために,ホットプレス法で作成したAg-MoS2系,Ag-NbSe2系及びAg-MoS2-NbSe2系の銀系複合材の摩擦・摩耗・通電特性を真空中において評価した。試験にはピン/円板型摩擦試験機を用い,貨幣銀円板に対して2本の銀系複合材ピン(直径4mm)を摺動させながら,ピン→円板→ピンの経路で直流1Aを流した。2本のピンの摺動条件は荷重がそれぞれ0.85N,0.5N,すべり速度が158mm/s,75mm/sで,55,000回(1A通電時26,000回)摩擦させた。その結果,(1)固体潤滑剤の配合量としては15％程度が最適である。(2)Ag85％＋MoS2 15％,Ag85％＋MoS2 7.5％＋NbSe2 7.5％及びAg90％＋MoS2 5％＋NbSe2 5％の複合材が試験した中では最適な組成である。(3)摩擦特性と電気ノイズに関してはAg-MoS2系が特に優れ,摩耗特性と接触抵抗はAg-MoS2-NbSe2系が特に優れる。ことが明らかとなった。次に,最適な組成の銀系複合材ピンを用いて,ピンに負荷する荷重を0.5N～5Nに変化させ,摺動特性への荷重の影響を調べた。荷重を増加させると通電特性が飛躍的に向上し,また,接触状態が良好になったために電気的摩耗が減少し摩耗特性も改善された。本実験の条件下では,良好な摩擦・摩耗・通電特性を得るには2N以上の荷重が必要であった。さらに,重錐による荷重負荷方式とバネによる荷重負荷方式の対応を検討した。バネ負荷の0.5Nは重錐負荷の2Nとほぼ同等の性能が得られ,バネ方式による負荷によりピン／円板間の接触状態が大幅に改善されることがわかった。本研究で得られた摩擦・磨耗・通電性能は,現在人工衛星で使用されているスリップリング材に比べても良好であり,試作した銀系複合材は今後の宇宙用スリップリング材料として有望である。; Screening tests were carried out to find the optimum brush materials of a slip-ring for space applications. Friction, wear and electric characteristics of three types of silver-based, hot-pressed composites(Ag-MoS2, Ag-NbSe2 and Ag-MoS2-NbSe2) were evaluated in a vacuum environment, using a dual-pin-on-disk friction tester. The composites were used as pin specimens (diameter of 4 mm) and rubbed against a coin silver disk. Electric direct current of 1A was transmitted from one pin to the other pin via the disk. The load and the sliding speed were 0.85N and 158mm/s, respectively, for one pin, and 0.5N and 75mm/s for the other pin. The number of repeated rubbings was 55,000 times (26,000 times under transmitting 1A). The results obtained were : (1)the optimum concentration of solid lubricant was about 15％, (2)the best performance was obtained with the compositions of Ag85％＋MoS2 15％, Ag85％＋MoS2 7.5％＋NbSe2 7.5％ and Ag90％＋MoS2 5％＋NbSe2 5％, and (3)Ag-MoS2 composite gave the best result in terms of friction and electrical noise, while Ag-MoS2-NbSe2 composites showed the lowest wear and electrical contact resistance. As the second step of the study, the load imposed on the pin specimen was changed from 0.5N to 5N. The increase in load resulted in better electrical performance and less wear. The decrease in wear was due to the smaller electrically induced wear, which seemed to result from better contact between the pin and the disk. It was found that a load of over 2N was required to obtain good performance. The difference between spring loading and dead weight loading of the pin specimen was also examined. The performance of spring loading with a load of 0.5N corresponded to that of dead weight loading with a load of 2N. The better contact seemed to be attained by spring loading. The selected composites showed better performance than the slip-ring brush material adopted for current satellites, and hence they have the potential for use as a high-performance slip-ring for future space applications.; 資料番号: NALTR1040000; レポート番号: NAL TR-1040
