• Note (General): わが国においては現在大型ロケットH-IIの開発が進んでいる。このロケット第1段主エンジンには同じく現在開発中の大型液酸・液水エンジンLE-7が用いられる。LE-7ターボポンプのタービンにはエンジン起動・停止時に大きな熱応力が発生する。すなわち起動時には,数秒間で液体酸素温度から900K以上となり,また停止時には低温水素ガスにさらされる。また定常時には水素過濃の高圧ガスで駆動されるため,水素脆性に対しても考慮が必要である。水素脆性に関してはこれまでに特に一般産業の分野において数多くの研究がなされているが,ロケット用タービンの使用条件は厳しいため,より詳しく調べる必要がある。LE-7タービン材料の水素脆性を調べる試験装置を試作して,Inconel718およびMAR-M247LC DS材について試験を行った。前者は主にタービンディスクに,また後者はタービン翼に使用されている。; A large launch vehicle, the H-II, has been developed in Japan. This launch vehicle will use a large liquid oxygen(LOX) /liquid hydrogen(LH2) engine, the LE-7, which also is under development. The turbine blades of LE-7 LOX/LH2 turbopumps are subjected to great thermal stress due to sudden and extreme environment changes, i.e., the temperature during the start sequence increases from approximately the LOX temperature to greater than the hydrogen rich combustion gas temperature(900K) within a few seconds, with the turbine blades being exposed to drafts of cold hydrogen gas during the preburner cutoff. At steady state operation, the LOX turbopump is driven by high-pressure, hydrogen-rich, hot combustion gas, thus the turbine blades must be strong enough to withstand not only thermal stress but also high pressure hydrogen embrittlement. Much research has focussed on industrial application hydrogen embrittlement effects, however, rocket turbopump hydrogen embrittlement must be studies in more detail. This let to the construction of a hydrogen embrittlement test facility to perform fatigue and tensile tests of blade materials in high pressure hydrogen at high temperatures, thereby actually simulating actual turbine driving conditions. Both Inconel 718 and MAR-M247LC DS were tested using this test facility, with the former being used as a disk material for the integrally machined blades of research, prototype and flight models, whereas the latter is being used as material for prototype/flight model turbopump/turbine blades.; 資料番号: NALTR1092000; レポート番号: NAL TR-1092
