Note (General): 実機形態に近い高アスペクト比の弾性翼を備えた全機模型のGLA実験を大型低速風洞(5.5M×6.5M)で実施することにした。実験に先立ち大型低速風洞に全機GLA実験に必要な突風発生装置を設置することにした。設置する突風発生装置は,突風の性質を制御し,再現が可能であることが望ましい。設計検討した全機用突風発生装置は,4枚の矩形の突風発生翼の翼端から流れ出る4本の集中した自由渦と翼面上の束縛渦による誘導流を利用する。設計方法と計算結果の実証,製作のための基礎資料を取得する目的で,小型低速風洞(55cm×65cm×90cm)を用い1/10縮尺の4枚の矩形翼を用いた全機用突風発生装置を製作して,予備実験を実施した。4枚の矩形の突風発生翼を用いた全機用突風発生装置は,簡単な渦モデルを仮定することによって,突風の大きさと分布の推定を行う方法が有効であることを実験的に確認したので,これらの結果について報告する。
A gust generation method is described that uses vortices produced from four oscillating cantilever wings which were installed in a low speed wind tunnel upstream of the test section. In order to obtain uniform pulsating flow at the test model, the aspect ratio of the rectangular wings was theoretically determined. Preliminary experiments validation were performed in a pilot tunnel with results indicating a suitable design method which is appropriate for application in NAL's 6.5M×5.5M Low Speed Wind Tunnel.
