Note (General): 近年ウェブ・ブラウザ内部で動的にコンテンツを生成できるようになったことで，データ解析ソフトウェアをウェブ・アプリケーションとして移植し，配信することが可能になった．ウェブ・アプリケーションでは，ソフトウェアをインストールすることなく常に最新版を利用できるため，利用者側は多くのメリットを享受できる．しかし，計算精度を保証しつつ科学ソフトウェアをウェブ・アプリケーション化するには，ウェブ・ブラウザとサーバ・ハードウェアに潜む2 つの壁を乗り越える必要がある．本論文ではまず，この壁について解説する．そして，コヒーレント・ネットワーク解析用ソフトウェア「RIDGE パイプライン」をウェブ・アプリケーション化する過程で我々が編み出した方法，すなわち，「ウェブ・システムとコンソール・アプリケーション(RIDGE パイプライン)を別々のハードウェアで動作させつつ相互連携させる方法」を紹介する．我々のこのアプローチは，他のコンソール・アプリケーションをウェブ・アプリケーションに移植する際にも適用できる，非常に汎用的な手法である．
Web browsers now can generate interactive multimedia contents inside them dynamically, allowing us to remake a scientific desktop application into a web application with advantages of no installation and easy access to the latest version. We also have to consider computation accuracy due to both the language specifications of web browsers and hardware architectures. In this paper, we explain these limitations and our solution applied to the migration of the RIDGE pipeline, which is software for a coherent network analysis. The basic idea of our method is dividing the hardware running the pipeline from the other system components, and applicable to arbitrary console applications.
