Note (General): モンテカルロ・シミュレーション(MCS)は，近年の計算機能力の大幅な向上に伴い，実用的なシステム評価ツールとなってきた．主な利点は，様々な不確かさを含む非線形システムを直接評価できることである．多数の入力間の相互作用の影響もMCS 結果に反映されるため，結果の信頼性は高い．本稿は，MCS結果を評価関数として最小化できる統計的最適化手法の詳細を述べる．評価関数はMCS の出力であり，システム要求を満足しない確率，すなわち失敗確率という統計量である．最適化アルゴリズムは，焼鈍し法(SA)とダウンヒル・シンプレックス法(DS)を組み合わせた手法を採用した．SA 法は大域的最適化法の1つであり，一方DS 法は次の候補となる設計パラメータを効率的に発生させることができる．本手法では最適化の過程で発生する全ての設計ベクトルをMCS 評価するため，計算負荷が高い．このため計算負荷を緩和するための方策をアルゴリズムに組み込み，実用性を高めた．過去に実施された飛行実験機モデルに本手法を適用し，制御パラメータを最適化した．本手法によって，実験実施時よりも非線形な飛行システムのロバスト性を改善できることを示す．
Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) has become a powerful tool for system evaluation with a rapid development of modern computers. One of the advantages is that a nonlinear system incorporating various uncertain inputs can be evaluated directly. Since MCS results reflect mutual interactions of many input parameters, the obtained results are reliable. This paper presents a stochastic design parameter optimization method which utilizes MCS result as a cost function to be minimized. The cost function is a probability of violating system requirements, namely probability of failure. In the optimization algorithm, Simulated Annealing (SA) and Downhill-SIMPLEX (DS) methods are combined. SA is one of the global search algorithms, while DS efficiently generates a candidate of next design vector. In this algorithm, since all generated design vectors are evaluated by MCS, computational burden becomes quite heavy. Some ways are devised in the algorithm in order to alleviate the high computational cost for practical use. The presented method is applied to the control parameter optimization of an experimental flight system which was conducted in the past. The results demonstrate that the robust performance of the nonlinear flight system can be improved.
