• Note (General): 出版タイプ： VoR; 2020年7月14日に実施した体積2,000m3 の皮膜に網をかぶせたスーパープレッシャー気球の飛翔試験（B20-03実験）において，放球時に皮膜が損傷する現象が発生した．この現象は皮膜と網の衝突による可能性が示されたが，それ以外の原因の可能性が否定されているわけではない．そこで本研究では，初期損傷を受けていたポリエチレン皮膜に応力がかかった場合，網が皮膜を擦った場合，網が皮膜を凖静的に圧迫した場合，網が皮膜を動的に叩いた場合の４つのケースについて，供試体を作成し，皮膜の損傷形態，特に破面をB20-03実験における損傷箇所と比較することでその要因を探った．SEM画像およびマイクロスコープによる破面観察によって，網との衝突によって発生した損傷が実際の損傷に近い形状であることが確認された．さらに，破断に至る衝突速度を評価するため，表面に網を張り付けたインパクターを用いた落錘試験によって網の衝突を模擬した．楕円形の板を用いたインパクターを用いた実験を実施したところ，衝突速度3.0 m/s以上で実際の気球で発生した傷に近い破面に縁のある損傷が再現できることがわかった．これらの結果により，B20-03 実験における皮膜の損傷が，網が皮膜に衝突したことによる衝撃破壊による可能性が実験的に再現でき，前報での半定量的な推定が裏付けられた．; In the flight test of a super-pressure balloon with a volume of 2,000m3, conducted on July 14, 2020, damage to the membrane occurred during the balloon’s release. This phenomenon was suggested to be caused by a collision between the membrane and the net, though other potential causes were not entirely ruled out. In this study, the mechanism behind the membrane damage was investigated by evaluating several factors and comparing the resulting damage patterns of the polyethylene membrane used in the experiment. Four scenarios were examined: stress applied to a membrane with initial defects, friction between the net and the membrane, quasi-static compression of the membrane by the net, and dynamic impact from the net. Test specimens were created for each case, and we evaluated the stress that led to membrane failure, as well as the damage morphology, with a particular focus on fracture surfaces, comparing them to the damage observed in the B20-03 experiment. SEM images and microscopic observations of the fracture surfaces revealed that damage caused by net collisions was similar in shape to the actual damage. Furthermore, to evaluate the impact velocity that led to membrane failure, a drop-weight test was conducted using an impactor with a net affixed to its surface to simulate the net's collision. In experiments using an elliptical impactor, it was found that damage resembling that seen in the actual balloon could be reproduced when the net collided at a speed of 3.0 m/s or more. These findings experimentally confirm that the membrane damage in the B20-03 experiment was likely due to impact fracture caused by the net colliding with the membrane at a speed of 3.0 m/s or higher, supporting the previous semi-quantitative estimation.; 形態: カラー図版あり; Physical characteristics: Original contains color illustrations; レポート番号: JAXA-RR-24-005
