Note (General): ソフトウエア工学におけるMDAフレームワークに基づく仕様の変換・合成技術が、EDA(Electric Design Automation)システムの自動化・高品質化にどのように寄与できるかを検証した。変換定義の言語として、オープンソースプロジェクトであるATL(Atlas Translation Language)を選択し、ATLにおいて、1)設計データDBからの目的コード生成部をATLにて記述する。また2)設計データDB生成に関してはオープンソースプロジェクトであるEMF(Eclipse Modeling Framework)を適用することによりメタモデルから自動生成を構築できることを確認する。さらに3) 2におけるXMIファイル保存形式からの内部DBへの読み取り(デシリアライズ)の箇所を対象プログラムと見立てて、EMFではなくてATLにてメタモデルからのAPI生成を行うことにより、メタモデルを利用したプログラム生成がEDAにおいても有効であることを示す。またこれらの過程で、どこまでimperativeな定義を排除した仕様書が記述できるかを検証した。結果として、EDAの分野ではメタモデルに基づくモデル変換がインダストリアルな事例においても自動化と高品質化に寄与することがわかった。また木言語理論によるモデル変換技術の形式的な取り扱いについて考察した。
