Note (General): 不均一系Ziegler-Natta 触媒を用いたオレフィン重合の化学を完全解明すべく、TiCl_3/MgCl_2 モデル触媒を主体とする実験科学と密度汎関数計算に基づく計算科学を相乗的に組み合わせた網羅的検討を行った。本研究の結果、鍵成分であるドナー化合物の活性点への作用機構を描写する「共吸着モデル」という、高性能触媒の設計指針を分子レベルで与える新規モデルの提案に成功した。 : Aiming at the full elucidation of heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta olefin polymerization, a comprehensive research was performed based on combined experimental and computational approaches. A coadsorption model proposed in this study not only gives a comprehensive picture about the genesis of catalysis, but also offers powerful strategies for the design of high-performance catalysts.
