Note (General): MgO(210)ファセット面上にPtを斜め蒸着し、線幅2nm間隔7nmのPtナノワイヤ列の製作に成功した。このワイヤ列のSHGは、7nmの線幅のPtナノワイヤよりも強度が数１０倍強く、その原因としてワイヤ内電子の量子閉じ込め効果を推測した。MgO(210)ファセット面上にPdを斜め蒸着した膜の透過電顕像はナノワイヤの長さの方向に長いモアレ構造を示した。またステップ構造を持つTiO2上にAuを蒸着した膜の製作に成功した。現在これらの試料のSHG応答を計測している。またクロム薄膜に加工したナノホール列のSHG応答、Siステップ表面上のHのSFG応答から表面上のミクロ構造を担った重要な情報を得た。 : We have succeeded in depositing Pt nanowire array of 2nm wirewidth and 7nm periodicity by shadow deposition on MgO(210) facetted templates. The SHG intensity from this Pt nanowire array is several tens of times stronger than that of wirewidth of 7nm. We guess one of the candidate origin of this SHG enhancement is the quantum confinement effect of the electron in the nanowire structure. We also observed moire structure in the TEM image of Pd nanowires on the MgO(210) facet. We have also succeeded in making a Au/stepped TiO2(320) sample. We are now measuring the SHG response from these samples. We have also obtained interesting microscopic information from nanofabricated structures on Cr films and hydrogenated stepped Si(111) surfaces.
