Note (General): 寒冷地における水稲生産は生育の様々な段階で遭遇する低温により阻害される｡将来に予測される気候変動下の寒冷地において安定的な水稲生産を行なうため,水稲の気象応答を定量化するするとともに,将来の生育･収量に及ぼす影響を予測し,有効な適応技術を開発することが望まれる｡本研究では,冷水掛け流し実験,開放系大気CO2増加(Free-air CO_2 enrichment, FACE)実験など,屋外での環境操作実験を主な手段として,群落条件での水稲の環境応答を定量化･モデル化し,現在の水稲生産の変動要因を解析するとともに,将来予測される気候変動が寒冷地の水稲収量に及ぼす影響を評価した｡
