Note (General): 魚玄機と薛涛は唐代の閨秀詩人の双壁であるが、森鴎外の同名の小説により、日本では魚玄機の方が良くその名を知られている｡唐詩の世界は、男性中心の世界であり、女性の感情が詩われる場合も、男性詩人の心を介在して抒べられるのを常とした｡その中にあって、魚玄機の男性を思う愛の詩は、女性の肉声をそのまま伝えるものとして、一際、光彩を放っている｡ところで、この魚玄機は十六歳の時より、唐代に盛えた道教の｢清虚｣(欲望を去った清らかな心境)に憧れたと伝えられ、また、後年、女道士となっているのであるが、一面、その詩に｢多情は是れ足愁(言い尽せない程の憂愁)｣と語る如く、恋愛感情の呪縛から脱していないのである｡小論は、この魚玄機の詩に見える恋愛感情の呪縛と道教的な悟りとの葛藤の考察を通じて、魚玄機の実像の解明を目指すものである｡
