研究成果の概要（和文）：　地理的表示法のいくつかの基礎的な問題を研究対象とした。具体的には、「社会的評価」の意義、いわゆる追加的保護の意義、地理的表示制度における普通名称化の問題などである。研究の一つの成果として、近年、地理的表示制度における社会的評価の重要性が高まり、品質中立主義につき、これを疑問とする声はほぼ聞かれなくなっていることを確認することができた。研究成果の概要（英文）： By investigating European literature, some basic problems of geographicalindications were studied.　In partocular, significance of reputation, significance of additional protection and geographical indication.genericization.　As a result of this research, I was able to conclude that importance of reputation in geographical indication system has increased, and todaythere is little doubt about quality neutral
