• Note (General): application/pdf; 研究報告書; 研究成果の概要（和文）：本研究においては、近代日本における中等学校学科課程への弓道教育導入過程に関してその歴史的特質を考察した。まず、学科課程に弓道教育が導入可能となった昭和戦前期の全道府県の学校種ごとに実施状況をデータベース化して全体像を明らかにした。次に山形県を事例とした旧制中学校の弓道教育については、山形県中等学校体育連盟主催の体育大会で活躍することを目標にして活性化がなされた。最後に、東京府、茨城県および新潟県における高等女学校では、殆どの学校で弓道部活動が行われており男子校に比べて活発であった。戦前期中等学校における弓道教育は、主として女子中等学校に浸透していたことが明らかとなった。 研究成果の概要（英文）：The purpose of this study is to clarify the characters of the process of introducing Japanese archery into the secondary schools’curriculum before the end of World War Ⅱ. The author came to conclusion as below; (1) I made a database of Japanese archery educations of all Japanese secondary schools, and clarified the overall picture before the Second World War. (2) In Yamagata, Japanese archery education of middle schools had been activated by practicing to the purpose of winning big competitions. (3) Japanese archery education was introduced at almost all girls’ secondary schools, so it can be inferred that Japanese archery had affinity with girls' physical education.
