研究成果の概要（和文）：Ｌ吸収端を用いた共鳴非弾性X線散乱スペクトルの解析を行った。第一に、銅酸化物絶縁体におけるスペクトルの解析を行い、自発的対称性の破れの影響を考慮することにより、２マグノン励起も取り込んだ解析に成功した。引き続き、スピン-軌道相互作用の大きなイリジウム化合物、Sr2IrO4、Sr3Ir2O7、Na2IrO3、CaIrO3に対して、微視的電子模型を基礎に、強結合および弱結合からの展開を行いスペクトルを計算した。実験のスペクトルをよく説明するとともに、その起源を明らかにした。研究成果の概要（英文）：We have analyzed the spectra at L edge in the resonant inelastic x-ray　scattering (RIXS). First we have analyzed the spectra in undoped cupper compounds. Having taken　account of broken symmetry effects, we have successfully reproduced the spectra, which arises from　not only the one-magnon excitation but also the two-magnon excitation. Subsequently we have analyzed the RIXS spectra in Sr2IrO4, Sr3Ir2O7, Na2IrO3, CaIrO3, where Ir ions suffer the strong spin-orbit　interaction. Based on microscopic models of electronic structures, we have calculated the spectra　within the strong coupling and the weak coupling expansions. Our results explain well the origin of　the experimental spectra.
