Note (General): 馬場武次郎氏が著している漢文の参考書の中で「禽獣且知恩、人安不知恩哉。」という漢文が使われている。しかしながら、この漢文の出典は明示されていない。それ故、本稿ではこの漢文の出典を明らかにすることを目的としている。上記の漢文を掲載している参考書はほとんどなく、扱っていたとしても出典は明記されていない。今回調査できた書籍のうち、馬場氏の参考書の出版年が一番古いことから、馬場氏が創作した可能性もあると考えている。類似の例文である「禽獣且知恩、況於人乎。」も含めて考察したものとなる。
