Note (General): 台湾では、高齢化と少子化の結果、人口構成が大きく変化しています。2020年、台湾は初めて人口成長率のマイナスを経験しました。このような環境の変化は、看護教育と実践の両面に影響を及ぼしています。台湾における看護教育の意見表明は、看護師になるための最低教育として、学士号レベルを標準化することです。また、新たに学士後看護プログラム（Post BS Nursing Program）が導入される予定です。台湾の看護師法では、看護師は産後センター、在宅医療、老人ホーム、精神科施設を持つことができます。また、高度実践看護（Advanced Practice Nursing）が開発され、資格認定されています。看護の専門的能力を確保するため、看護師は6年ごとに免許を更新する必要があり、120時間の現任教育が義務付けられています。高齢化社会と出生率の低下により、健全な長期介護サービスシステムの構築が進められています。最後に、台湾の看護師に関する世論調査、新型コロナウィルス感染症（COVID-19）の影響について紹介します。合理的な患者対看護師比率を推進し、看護の実践環境を改善することで、看護職の確保と成長を目指しています。看護への投資が強く推奨されています。
